Our client had historically produced a 12-page stitched, self-cover brochure on a 130 gsm paper. They were challenged internally to deliver savings or generate “more for less” on this regularly mailed piece.
Our client had historically produced a 12-page stitched, self-cover brochure on a 130 gsm paper. They were challenged internally to deliver savings or generate “more for less” on this regularly mailed piece.
We recommended switching to a 90gsm high bulk stock that delivered a similar look and feel to their current paper, while also providing a heftier feel for a low page-count catalog.
We recommended changing the production process to an inline spine glued format to save costs.
The net result to our client was that they could produce and mail a 16-page self-cover brochure for exactly the same cost as the 12-page brochure, creating an additional 33% of ‘free’ advertising space.
